On the basis of this Directive, this summer you will no longer need to physically go to a civil-law notary to have a private limited company under Dutch law incorporated.<\/p>\n<p>However, the role of the civil-law notary remains as important as ever, in view of legal certainty, legal protection and the prevention of fraud and abuse. A digital deed must therefore be drawn up. Identification and signing must also be made possible digitally. The notarial practice is currently working on this. This may also pave the way for further digitalisation of other notarial services. We will of course keep you informed.<\/p>\n<p>Corporate law questions?
